While Netflix has a global audience and platform to showcase the Queer series, Amazon Prime with its restricted audience in a country such as India has now increased the number of LGBTQ+ streaming on their platform. LGBTQ representation on screen is at all time high now on Amazon Prime and Hotstar.

Staring Sarah Michelle Gellar as a girl with a supernatural power of fighting the vampires and demons. It was aired on television in 1997. Buffy the Vampire Slayer made history for the first-ever lesbian sex scene on network television.
The Boys:
The superheroes named ‘The Boys’ has one of their lead roles portraying a gay character. The series is based on a comic book written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The Season 2 of The Boys trailer is out and is expected to focus on the Gay character in the coming season.
Dragula:
Dragula is a horror themed reality show based on RuPaul’s Drag Race. The show is currently streaming Season 3. The Dragula hosted by the Boulet Brothers is in search for the World’s Drag Supermonster.
Empire:
It is a musical based on the fictional company Empire Entertainment. The series focuses on an openly gay couple performing artists as singer and songwriter.
Fleabag:
The series is a part of BBC production. The show speaks about the bisexual relation on small screen on how a woman who comes out as a bisexual. It was starred by Phoebe Waller. She won 11 Emmy awards and was nominated as an outstanding actor. Fleabag was nominated as one of the Outstanding comedy series.
Grey’s anatomy:
The show has the longest running queer character in history. The series Grey’s anatomy was celebrated by many for its diversity in portraying pretty much the entire LGBTQ+ community which most shows will fail to do.
Modern Family:
This is a series that you ought to watch if you are planning to start a family with your partner. The Gay couple in this series adopts a kid from Vietnam and the entire family supports them. The show in speaks in detail about the upbringing of the kid as Gay parents.
