Ferrari won’t have its fully electric car model ready until after 2025. CEO of the sports car maker said that as the battery technology requires more development, there will be delay. Also stated that there are significant issues in terms of autonomy, speed of recharging the battery. The luxury car maker earlier told that the electric car will be ready by 2022 and it will be available in the market by 2023.

Louis Camilleri – Ferrari’s CEO said that Ferrari was fully studying the electric grand tourer car, but it would stick only to hybrid vehicle production for the future. He also said that the group was also considering alternative technologies inclusive of hydrogen and other biofuels for its cars. Camilleri stated that they are looking for different powertrains to foresee what could be the most efficient and effective for the cars that will fulfil Ferrari’s vision of future.
