Marvel will have its first gay superhero in the upcoming movie ‘The Eternals.’ It is an upcoming Marvel superhero film based on the Comics Eternal. Actor Brian Tyree Henry will be portraying as the Gay superhero in the movie.
Phastos – the openly gay superhero is set to be married to Haaz Sleiman with a child. Haaz Sleiman who is an openly gay actor said that it is a big step for him to play a major role with the Marvelstudios. He also said that it a big leap for the LGBTQ+ representation in movies. According to Sleiman, the pair also gave the Marvel’s first same-sex kiss.
Though in the recent years, more movies have brought in LGBTQ+ inclusiveness, Marvel is in spotlight as it is highly anticipated to portray the gay superhero. The Eternals is expected to release in November 2020.
The Eternals are the most powerful team of the Universe. The Eternals can project cosmic energy from eyes and hands and have self-healing power.
Phastos – the gay superhero, is the genius who can create incredible weapons for the Eternals. He is a master technologist who carries a hammer around that can manipulate all machinery which the Eternals cannot.
