Swapnil Kadam is the founder of matrimonial site Soul – Mate. Swapnil was waiting for the abrogation of Article 377 as his plan was to extend matchmaking services to the LGBTQ community.
Kadam when starting the matrimonial services for the community, did not have a database. He offers the services in free for the LGBTQ community. He stated that he has already ventured into the matrimonial profession and is not looking into making profits out of this service.
Swapnil Kadam is well aware that 2 people of the same sex cannot be legally married in India. He felt that connecting two people was a success and when the law comes in the duo can get married.
